• The much-anticipated bout will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 26Conor McGregor brought the promotional tour for his fight with Floyd Mayweather to a close on Friday night by accusing the five-division world champion of wearing high heels throughout before describing his opponent as a 'stupid baldy t***'.

The Irishman, who benefited from the support of 5,000 travelling Irish fans in the SSE Arena, said Mayweather had used high-heeled shoes to boost his 5ft 8in frame in both Toronto and New York City on previous legs of the tour.  Reacting to Mayweather taking a selfie, McGregor said: 'Mate, you're 40. Get that f****** phone out of your hand like you're a kid. He was wearing high heels yesterday. Check the picture from yesterday and check it from the day before, proper high heels that b**** was wearing. You should have wore them on the first day you stupid baldy t***.'
