With pre-season training now well
underway, Chelsea fans will be cheered to see one of their star players
regaining full fitness.
Forward Eden Hazard is continuing to recover from a fractured ankle suffered in training with the Belgium national team in June.
While
Hazard will miss all of Chelsea's summer friendlies, he is now fit
enough to get into the gym and work on his fitness, as he proved with a
social media picture.
Posting the snap of him working out to
Instagram, Hazard wrote: 'A good week, my cast is off, now the lonely
journey to full fitness!'
Hazard was working alone in the gym at Chelsea's training ground while his team mates worked outside at the Blues' Cobham base.
While
the outfield players were engaged in traditional running and ball work,
the goalkeepers - as is their natural wont - were engaged in something
more unconventional.
For
Courtois it would have felt natural, given his family's affinity for
the game - his sister plays internationally for Belgium and his parents
are both ex-professionals.
It was no
surprise therefore that the three-man team of Courtois, third choice
keeper Eduardo and coach Gianluca Spinelli were left celebrating
victory.
