AC Milan are close to completing a £61million move for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, according to reports in Italy.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim
the deal is close to completion, with Milan set to continue their
summer spending spree despite the reported fee being significantly below
Real's asking price of £79m.
Morata
has been a target of both Manchester United and Chelsea this summer but
neither club has been able to agree terms, with the Red Devils
subsequently turning to Romelu Lukaku as an alternative.
