from the rubble of White Hart Lane as work continues apace on the
construction of their 61,559-capacity stadium.Fresh pictures show the first stands are taking shape at the new ground, which is adjacent to their home of 118 years. White Hart Lane itself is being demolished at the same time as the new, as yet unnamed, ground sprouts up in north London.The new stadium is expected to be ready for the 2018/19 season, with Spurs setting up temporary home at Wembley in the meantime. And, whisper it, but the curved apex in the centre of the new stand bears a resemblance to the design of the Emirates Stadium, home of Tottenham's arch rivals, Arsenal.
