Oscar will appeal his eight-match suspension for the role he played in a mass brawl that marred a Chinese Super League match.
The
former Chelsea attacker was stunned by the severity of ban after
sparking an extraordinary melee between players and staff of his club
Shanghai SIPG and Guangzhou R&F, in a game that ended in a 1-1 draw.
Shanghai
SIPG manager Andre Villas-Boas is said to be furious at the duration of
the punishment, believing it does not fit the crime.
