He stated this in Ibadan on Monday during an interactive session with newsmen to mark the Democracy Day and his administration’s sixth anniversary, disclosing that his successor must be a fearless person, intellectually sound, a courageous and compassionate person.
He said, “I have seen about five people who have the potential to succeed me. I will let you know whoever will be my successor by May next year.”

Ajimobi, whose second term as governor of Oyo State expires in 2019, added that his successor must be ready to give priority to the welfare of the people the state.
